Peter Rabbit Themed Baby Shower

We love a good themed event, especially one as heartwarming as today’s featured baby shower! Inspired by everyone’s favorite mischief-making, blue-jacket-wearing, life-lesson-learning rabbit, this baby shower design is absolutely one of our favorites. From the venue to the centerpieces, to the folded bunny napkins, and the yummy carrot cake, this look has all the elements we could ask for from a Peter Rabbit-themed baby shower! Bringing the Story to Life

With the old-world charm and architecture of Five Crowns Restaurant, we can’t think of a better venue to bring the world of Peter Rabbit to life! The greenhouse dining area was transformed into a gorgeous indoor garden, complete with fresh veggies adorning the tables and furniture. The outdoor patio area was set with traditional lawn games for guest to enjoy al fresco! 

Baker Tip: If your venue has tables and chairs, use them – especially if they go with your theme! Spend your budget on décor and other elements that can add a wow factor to your design! 

Living Centerpieces That Give Us Life

Step aside florals and candles, this look calls for a different type of centerpiece! Made up of Tomatoes and carrots, artichokes, zucchini, and squash, among many others, the centerpieces were stunning! Not only did these living centerpieces bring a fresh, organic element to the design, they also brought in the beautiful colors of nature to brighten up the space. And with the napkins folded into little bunnies, these added to the garden charm of the theme and completed the look!

Our Purple Venice Goblets were the perfect match for this table top design, and we love the creative use of our Purple Venice Old Fashions as bud vases to add just a sprinkle of florals to the design! 

The Carrot on top of the Cake 

There’s just so much to love about this design, from the use of the space to the details in the décor, to the gorgeous carrot cake. With a theme like Peter Rabbit, it’s easy to bring in elements of nature and innocence, both of which are essential for a baby shower design. Overall, this is a great example of how a theme can bring together all aspects of an event to create one cohesive look and transform an event into something extraordinary. 

But beyond the gorgeous design, what we love the most going through these pictures are the glowing faces of the expectant parents. And that is the carrot on top of the cake!
