Having a wedding in a backyard is a great option for many reasons. They're cost effective, they create a casual atmosphere in a familiar setting, and they allow the bride and groom to show off their own style and creativity. The latter is true for Cynthia and Carlos, whose wedding inspiration look features a minimalistic backyard wedding design with whimsical elements to satisfy the DIY lover in all of us! 

What made this wedding extra special is that the ceremony was held at the Riverbed Farms in Anaheim, which is a fully functioning farm that donates hundreds of pounds of fresh food each month thanks to the proceeds from renting out its venue space. What an amazing way to give back to the community!

We're absolutely in love with the sweetheart table design! With a backdrop of colorful pompoms hanging behind the table, a lush greenery garland draping off the sides of the table, and an assortment of our Ella and Wooden Round Lanterns on the ground, the sweetheart table was the perfect focal point for the reception! And we love the light blue candles on our Gold Candlesticks paired with orange florals!

Each table had a lazy Susan in the center with various condiments for the Asian cuisine meal prepared by Parcel Restaurant. Plumes of pampas grass and other dried florals were the perfect choice to decorate the reception tables.

Our Latte Textured Linens were the perfect choice to dress the tables for the reception, keeping a neutral color tone that contrasted perfectly with the dark wood of our Fruitwood Folding Chairs. Our Lattice Avocado Napkins added a geometric pattern to the design and was the perfect shade of green to pop against the table cloth.

The bar station was set in the driveway so guests could grab a cocktail on their way to the backyard. Our Wooden Bella Bar and the garage door were decorated with similar pompom garlands, tying the bar area together with the same color scheme as the reception.

We believe that hosting a wedding at home can be a great option for some couples, and this design is the perfect example of how to successfully host your guests in style! Thank you, Cynthia and Carlos, for letting us be a part of your special day!
